This is part 2 of 4 of a Scuba Diving Trip I made with my 3 Sons, Ben (17), Paul (16), and Luke (14) on July 23, 2011. All of my boys have been diving since they were allowed to take the course at 10 years old. We usually head off Mississippi but decided to go East off Alabama and see if we could find some better water. Mississippi Water always seems to have a muck layer at the bottom (This was not the case decades back) and we wanted to find some new diving spots. This Dive was made following the first Tensaw Bridge Dive. This is listed as the Atlantic Marine Drydock and also labeled DR Dunlop Reef. I call it the Dunlop DryDock. I was not expecting much left of this mostly wood structure that was deployed in 1999 and was pleasantly surprised to see it flurishing nicely. There was an abundance of Amberjack and Snapper. Ben bagged an unusal snapper that we tentatively Identified as a wenchman snapper, but the Dorsal is different than the Picture ID. The scales were like that of a Shark. See the pictures at the primofish website.
